Learn and practice competitive debate skills with coaches who have trained our students to win the Texas State Championship and NSDA National Championship, as well as PF and LD semi- and quarter-finalists in numerous national competitions. We put our best effort in every student.

Program description
Debate 1 class:
This course introduces the basics of debating, including the structure of arguments and methods of effective rebuttals. Students will also learn how to take notes (flow) in debate tournaments, choose an influential point of view, and analyze the theme of a debate topic.
Advanced Debate class:
This course teaches students how to use multiple levels of analysis and refutation to improve the quality of arguments, summarizing, and weighing skills. Coaches will choose the teaching material based on each student's experience with debate, including topics such as economics and news.
Our coaches have a great amount of experience in both debating and coaching debate. They have trained our students winning the LD State and National championships as well as the LD and PF finalists, semifinalists, and quarterfinalists students in multiple national and local debate tournaments.
