Our coaches have a great amount of experience in both debating and coaching debate. They have trained our students winning the LD National championships, LD and PF state champions, as well as the LD and PF finalists, semifinalists, and quarterfinalists students in multiple national and local debate tournaments.
Debate 1 class (in-person):
Students learned debate 0-1 year.
This course introduces the basics of debating, including the structure of arguments and methods of effective rebuttals. Students will also learn how to take notes (flow) in debate tournaments, choose an influential point of view, and analyze the theme of a debate topic.
Students start to attend debate tournamnets.
Debate 1 Class (online):
Students learned debate 0-1 year.
This course introduces the basics of debating, including the structure of arguments and methods of effective rebuttals. Students will also learn how to take notes (flow) in debate tournaments, choose an influential point of view, and analyze the theme of a debate topic.
Students start to attend debate tournamnets.
Advanced Debate class (in-person):
This course teaches students how to use multiple levels of analysis and refutation to improve the quality of arguments, summarizing, and weighing skills. Coaches will choose the teaching material based on each student's experience with debate, including topics such as economics and news.
Students attend more high level tournaments.
Elite Debate Class (online)
Qualification:
1. Students have learned debate for at least one year and have sttended debate tournaments.
2. With coach's evaluation and approval
Over the course of a debate season, students compete at prestigious state and online national level tournaments, such as Georgetown, Harvard, and the Tournament of Champions. The elite team is suitable for students who are willing to make high committment to the debate.
During the months we compete, coaches work hand in hand with students to conduct research, prepare arguments, and practice intensely. That is why year after year, our students and coaches continue to raise the bar, achieving victories at the largest and most difficult competitions.
